Guidelines for the safeguarding of the Afghan Cultural Heritage at the Afghanistan-Museum in Switzerland by the Foundation Bibliotheca Afghanica

1. The foundation does not acquire any objects from the market.
2. The foundation receives and conserves for Afghanistan donations without any conditions (the donator loses all his rights on the object).
3. The foundation prepares an inventory (object-ID) of all items which are entrusted to it.
4. The foundation does not return any object to Afgthanistan without a written agreement from UNESCO.
5. The foundation does not gain any commercial advantages from its activities to protest the Afghan Cultural Heritage.
6. The objects will be returned only to Afghanistan in accordance with UNESCO’s criteria and to the institutions named by this organization.
